The Manor on Wheels

Here it is, the home which will sustain us as we travel the continent... five of us, crammed into these comfortable sleeping quarters, feeling every movement we each make as we sleep, hearing every sound which reverberates through the night sky. Ah, yes the wonders of travelling by caravan - pulling one tonne of life behind you, heading into who knows where. What joy this will be! And not having to deal with city traffic congestion, daily schedules attuned to the clock, or smog. I can almost smell the fresh air already! 

Counting Down

Three weeks of work to go before the Heard family turns its full time attention to touring around Australia for 14 weeks. Two adults and three children (aged 13, 10 and 9) will pack themselves into a car and camper trailer and explore the Centre and West Coast of Australia. Keep a look out for posts, pictures and Ev's musings on adjusting to life in the outback. Sure to be good entertainment.
